Ingredients

  • 1 very ripe banana or very ripe fresh mango, or 1 cup pineapple (frozen is fine)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup kefir or yogurt
  • 4-5 ice cubes optional
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey optional

Instructions

  • Process everything in a blender (high-powered is best).
  • Enjoy right away.

Notes

The reason for very ripe banana is slightly green bananas give smoothies a bitter taste.
If mangoes are not perfectly ripe (which is often the case with frozen mangoes), they make smoothies taste chalky.
