- 1 fresh mango, chopped; or 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 cup kefir how to make kefir or coconut milk for vegan version (how to make coconut milk)
- 1/2 orange skin removed
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/4 inch sliver fresh turmeric root work up to 1 inch once you get used to the taste
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 4-5 ice cubes optional
- Strawberries and mango pieces for topping
Process all ingredients in a high-powered blender. If you don't have a high-powered blender, skip the chia seeds.
Top with strawberries and mango.
- I really recommend fresh ripe mango because frozen mangos sometimes taste chalky (picked before their prime).
